Features
High
productivity
The iPF8000S is the most
productive 44" printer in its
class. A maximum speed
of up to 32.5sqm per hour is
possible and the twin print head
design and 4pl
ink droplets also produce an
incredible 2400 x 1200 dpi
resolution for the
perfect blend of speed and
productivity.
Switch to the new Economy Print
Mode to produce high quality output
at a
lower total cost. This mode
enables 1200 x 1200 dpi output at
high speed on
coated and uncoated paper
stocks by regulating the use of
photo cyan and
photo magenta inks to reduce
ink consumption by 10% to 20%.
The built-in 80GB hard drive
increases storage space and Canon's
innovative
ink tank system enables
continuous printing even while the
cartridges have to
be unloaded. Selectable high-
capacity ink tanks offer a choice
of 330ml or
700ml.
High-quality
colour
The 8-colour LUCIA pigment ink
system produces a dynamic colour
gamut, and
the inclusion of grey helps to
create smooth gradations and
reduced
graininess, creating a crisp
monotone output. Other features
include higher
scratch resistance and
lightfastness of 120 years.
Consistent
colour
The iPF8000s features Canon's
colour calibration tool that
adjusts colour
differences between individual
print heads or printers in just 10
minutes.
Ease of
use
The large LCD operation makes
operator usage completely
intuitive. The
iPF8000S also features
automatic skew correction to reduce
errors caused by
paper misfeed, as well as a new
fan and exhaust system to ensure a
more
comfortable working
environment.
Added-value
software
A variety of as-standard and
optional software solutions
complete the
remarkable package of benefits
the iPF8000S represents.

cameras,
enabling customers to edit
their photos using visual tools
